It was small, but it was a harvest. Yesterday, we snipped a bunch of chives for our baked potatoes.
After all the rain, things are looking pretty mucky, but the little kitchen garden sits a bit high. It might be ready for greens and lettuce this weekend. I'll also plant parsley then. Spring is coming!
This time of year, any harvest is wonderful. Fresh chives are delicious. Mine are still barely coming back, way too short to cut!
Your photo of the butterfly above is one of the best I've ever seen. Kudos to you! I can never seem to capture them well because of that lovely, fluttery, erratic flight pattern. ;)
