This year didn't start off quite like I had planned. I've been sick since Christmas, but I think I'm slowly getting better. I've had to limit my activity to keep coughing under control, so what better to do than sit and scrap? I'm still working through the Kits class with May Flaum I took at Big Picture Scrapbooking. Thanks to that class I'm almost finished scrapping the photos from our Disney trip five years ago, and I've found a new enthusiasm for scrapping again.
I straightened up my scrap space and cleaned out a lot of things I thought I wouldn't use. I "found" a few layouts I'd started but never finished. I finished this one, and I'm happy to have it done and in an album. I'm also happy to have the project envelope off my shelf. I plan to finish up the other "started but not finished" ones I found as well.
After having such a wonderful visit with our whole family at Christmas, I was inspired to pull out some old photos of my nephew Brandon and scrap them. I'm happy how this one turned out.
I'm now taking the Point of View class with Nic Howard at BPS. We're on week one and I'm already seeing the benefit of the class. I'll post a class update in a few days once I have a few LOs done, but so far, I can say the class was well worth the money. I expect to be able to add a couple exclamation marks after that sentence as I get further into the class.
