This post is my review of Sloggers Uni Sandals. I bought these on my own at Target, and I have not been paid by the manufacturer for my review.
For years, I've been wearing worn out slip on athletic shoes for gardening. In the early spring, the cool, damp got to my toes pretty quickly, and my shoes always filled up with all manner of mulch, stones and dirt. This year, I decided I needed some shoes just for gardening - something I could hose off and put right back on and not suffer from cold toes. One day at Target, I saw a large display of gardening shoes, both clogs and an open back slip on. I tried the clogs on and didn't find them comfortable - they seemed to be a bit thin in the sole and didn't provide any support. Then I tried on the open back slip on - the Uni Sandal. Now that was more like it! Very cushy and soft and a good bit more support and MUCH more to my liking. I bought a pair.
A few days after I bought them and had worn them a few times, Garden Rant did a review (thanks to Craig at Ellis Hollow for reminding me). Since I'd already bought mine, and frankly had no idea what I'd bought, the review didn't influence me.
Sloggers website. When these wear out, I'll gladly pay the website price if Target no longer carries them. But I don't think they are going to wear out any time soon. One pair gets more wear than the other, but I can't tell which is which - they both still look brand new, except for those bits of grass and dirt. Even at $21.99, I think these shoes are a great value, and they deliver on performance. My feet are very happy.
Love them, too...I have the classic or wild print clog and paid way more for them at the nursery! Yours are great. Like you I used to wear old tennies in the garden...with the heel folded in to make them slip-ons! Heading to Target this week!

I like the sloggers but need arch support in them in order to wear them any length of time! Showing my age I guess! Yours are a very pretty color. I have navy so they won't show the dirt.
